The British Cemetery commemorates the 100th anniversary of a remarkable sporting achievement. As part of its eleventh cycle , “Encuentros a la Puesta del Sol” presents "Olympians: 100 Years Since Colombes," a must-see program for any sports enthusiast. 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM Guided Tour: "Cortita y al Pie"Join historian Carolina Lazo and architect Eduardo Montemuiño for a captivating tour featuring the stories of the pioneers of Uruguayan football. 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM Lecture in the Chapel: Celebrate a century since the legendary Olympic triumph in Colombes, Paris 1924-2024, with a presentation by renowned journalist, writer, and researcher Alfredo Etchandy. Come celebrate this historic legacy of Uruguayan football with us! The event will include sign language interpreters (UDELAR).
