Tribute to HRM Queen Elizabeth II

The British Cemetery of Montevideo pays a heartfelt tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and mourns her passing. The gates of the cemetery opened for those who wished to bring offerings of flowers and notes, in acknowledgement of her extraordinary life of service and sorrowful passing. The tribute was held from Friday 16th to Monday 19th of September. On Monday 19th, at 11 o'clock, we had a short ceremony, with the presence of His Majesty´s Ambassador, closing with a bagpipes lament.
