We welcomed Dr. Raúl Maneyro to learn more about Darwin´s discoveries. In this corner of the world, our country houses a unique biodiversity in its territory. The relationship between Uruguay, Charles Darwin, and Darwin’s frog reminds us of the importance of preserving and understanding the natural wealth that our country has to offer. We received Dr. Raúl Maneyro. Graduate in Biological Sciences (Faculty of Sciences, UdelaR. Uruguay), Master in Biological Sciences - Option Zoology (PEDECIBA, Uruguay), Doctor in Zoology (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), Associate Professor (Grade 4) on a Full Dedication basis at the Faculty of Sciences from UdelaR. He is a member of the Council of the Faculty of Sciences, the InvestigaUy Fiscal Commission and editor of the Bulletin of the Zoological Society of Uruguay.
